Game Won: Tracy Stuart '93 Remembers Jennifer Crispen

"As the founder and board member of Saving Sweet Briar, Inc., and as a prior athlete on this campus (Field Hockey and Lacrosse) I wanted to rally the athletic troops with a message during the weekend of the Alumnae FH/Lacrosse games this spring (April 2015), and a message to the broader SSB alumnae community as well. I used the the phrase "Game On" since I knew it would be something I could hear Crispen saying, but it was also a great message to promote to the SSB movement - to fight as a team and don't stop until we could yield a victory. Adding Crispen's name to the message would also touch the thousands of alums who knew and loved her, especially her former athletes, and show that her spirit continues here at Sweet Briar. After hanging the banner that weekend in April, I added a "W" to the message on June 22nd, our victory day, "Game Won!" Proceeds of this shirt will go to support the Friends of Athletics."
